    This is mandatory content that must be completed before your rostered EPs day. You may complete the pre-course material and open book exam up to 30 days prior to your rostered EPs day. Modules and open book exam that are completed over 30 days prior to your EPs day, will not be accepted and a recompletion will be required. precourse CBT availability.

    Note: The DGs exam is open book. To comply with new competency based training regulations, the exam is randomized for each learner hence no printable PDF can be provided. Please refer to the Cabin Operations Dangerous Goods Manual and the Cabin Safety Manual to complete this exam. Please complete the DGs CBT on this page, before completing the DGs Exam.

    Our Recurrent Security Training follows a biennial cycle, commencing in February 2025. As crew you will attend this classroom training bi-annually and your roster will show the CRSTC code meaning in-class training

    Morning Session covering;
  • Threats and Awareness – Reflecting on the past deeds and encouraging a proactive risk management approach to life on and off the aircraft. Prevention and response to unauthorised persons, suspicious behaviour. Empowering crew to speak up.
  • Protecting the Aircraft – Supporting the security search procedures & applying the HOTUP principle to identify suspicious items
  • Onboard Security – Reinforcing our procedures for preventing and dealing with high risk situations including: unruly passengers, hijack and terrorist situations
  • Communication & Reporting – Between the Flight Deck, Cabin and passengers, Witness Reports and KoruSafe Security Reports


  • Afternoon practical session covering;

  • Use of non- lethal protective devices (restraint)

    Training bulletin
    Please first carefully read the general bulletin and HMS information.
    Information
    To assist with your learning and understanding of the Equipment, Fire/Smoke and Bomb Threat procedure refresh, an in class room training day will be rostered for all Turboprop cabin crew. The course will run between 23 June 2025 and October 2026.

    At some point after your rostered training day you will be rostered an at home study day (HMS) which is time in lieu for you to learn and study the content prior to go live. You will be required to complete the open book exam on this page, which must be completed prior to 19th February 2026.

  • Protecting the Aircraft – Supporting the security search procedures & applying the HOTUP principle to identify suspicious items
  • Onboard Security – Reinforcing our procedures for preventing and dealing with high risk situations including: unruly passengers, hijack and terrorist situations
  • Communication & Reporting – Between the Flight Deck, Cabin and passengers, Witness Reports and KoruSafe Security Reports

    Please first carefully read the general bulletin and HMS information.
    Information
    To assist with your learning and understanding of the Equipment, Fire/Smoke and Bomb Threat procedure refresh, an in class room training day will be rostered for all Turboprop cabin crew. The course will run between 23 June 2025 and October 2026.

    At some point after your rostered training day you will be rostered an at home study day (HMS) which is time in lieu for you to learn and study the content prior to go live. You will be required to complete the open book exam on this page, which must be completed prior to 19th February 2026.

Any failure of either the DGs or Openbook exam will need a resit which will only be provided on the day of yours EPs course by your instructor.

  • Emergency Equipment Exam: This is a closed book assessment that has an 80% pass mark and consists of 30 questions that will test equipment locations on each aircraft variant, including knowledge of pre-flight equipment checks, operation and precautions of use. Note - The A321neo D variant is included in this year's exams

  • Emergency Procedures (Drills) Exam: This is a closed book assessment that has an 90% pass mark and consists of 20 questions that will test aircraft drills, including knowledge of what each drill line represents and emergency knowledge.

  • Door Practical Assessment: You must be able to demonstrate competency in both normal and emergency operations of your fleet specific aircraft door. For each door assessment you will have 3 attempts to achieve a pass.

  • Threats and Awareness – Reflecting on the past deeds and encouraging a proactive risk management approach to life on and off the aircraft. Prevention and response to unauthorised persons, suspicious behaviour. Empowering crew to speak up.
  • Protecting the Aircraft – Supporting the security search procedures & applying the HOTUP principle to identify suspicious items
  • Onboard Security – Reinforcing our procedures for preventing and dealing with high risk situations including: unruly passengers, hijack and terrorist situations
  • Communication & Reporting – Between the Flight Deck, Cabin and passengers, Witness Reports and KoruSafe Security Reports

Modules and open book exam that are completed over 31 days prior to your EPs day, will NOT be accepted and a recompletion will be required. Any failure of either the DGs or Openbook exam will need a resit which will only be provided on the day of yours EPs course by your instructor.

  • Emergency Equipment Exam: This is a closed book assessment that has an 80% pass mark and consists of 30 questions that will test equipment locations on each aircraft variant, including knowledge of pre-flight equipment checks, operation and precautions of use. Note - The B789 V4 variant is included in this year's exams

  • Emergency Procedures (Drills) Exam: This is a closed book assessment that has an 90% pass mark and consists of 20 questions that will test aircraft drills, including knowledge of what each drill line represents and emergency knowledge.

  • Door Practical Assessment: You must be able to demonstrate competency in both normal and emergency operations of your fleet specific aircraft door. For each door assessment you will have 3 attempts to achieve a pass.

  • Threats and Awareness – Reflecting on the past deeds and encouraging a proactive risk management approach to life on and off the aircraft. Prevention and response to unauthorised persons, suspicious behaviour. Empowering crew to speak up.
  • Protecting the Aircraft – Supporting the security search procedures & applying the HOTUP principle to identify suspicious items
  • Onboard Security – Reinforcing our procedures for preventing and dealing with high risk situations including: unruly passengers, hijack and terrorist situations
  • Communication & Reporting – Between the Flight Deck, Cabin and passengers, Witness Reports and KoruSafe Security Reports

    Pre-course work
    This is mandatory content that must be completed before the end of your rostered EPs day. You may complete the pre-course material and open book exam up to 30 days prior to your rostered EPs day. Modules and open book exam that are completed over 31 days prior to your EPs day, will NOT be accepted and a recompletion will be required. Any failure of either the DGs or Openbook exam will need a resit which will only be provided on the day of yours EPs course by your instructor.

  • Emergency Equipment Exam: This is a closed book assessment that has an 80% pass mark and consists of 30 questions that will test equipment locations on each aircraft variant, including knowledge of pre-flight equipment checks, operation and precautions of use. Note - The B789 V4 variant is included in this year's exams

  • Emergency Procedures (Drills) Exam: This is a closed book assessment that has an 90% pass mark and consists of 20 questions that will test aircraft drills, including knowledge of what each drill line represents and emergency knowledge.

  • Door Practical Assessment: You must be able to demonstrate competency in both normal and emergency operations of your fleet specific aircraft door. For each door assessment you will have 3 attempts to achieve a pass.
